Current Positions:    

Account Executive

 General Purpose:
To focus on increasing and retaining an existing revenue base through selling multi-media products and building profitable existing customer relationships.  Prospecting and selling new advertisers is a must. This position requires a broad knowledge of the organization’s services, products and marketing techniques, and requires sales experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Reach sales goals as set by management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to assure high customer loyalty and retention.
  • Prospect for new business, prepare/present proposals and maintain existing relationships.
  • Attend trade shows, association meetings and onsite client meetings as required.
  • Maintain high level of product, industry and client knowledge.
  • Maintain client and prospect database in ACT.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Sales skills and experience and/or proven ability to sell.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

 

 

Ad Traffic Coordinator

 

Responsible for the ad development process and overseeing all aspects of the production of the ad to include coordinating and developing timetables, meeting deadlines and obtaining approvals at each stage of production.

 

Essential Functions

 

·         Send out emails and work with clients and/or agencies directly.

·         Manage receipt of new ad materials via FTP, CD or DVD.

·         Route ad materials through production department / delivering proofs back to advertiser in an efficient manner.

·         Coordinate and traffic the production and proof cycles for all advertisements.

·         Procure product information, including samples, digital images, and copies from vendors.

·         Prepare purchase orders.

·         Generate Reader Service information and Ad Index information for each issue.

·         Maintain magazine response system.

·         Financial reporting / Weekly Datafest reports.

·         Coordinate monthly impositions.

·         Provide daily assistance to sales team and Publisher.

·         Traffic E-Newsletter Banner ads and Online Banner Ads.

 

 

Other Functions

 

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

·         Working knowledge of marketing, advertising, and creative design.

·         Familiar with MS Windows and office software applications including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

 

Technical Skills

 

·         Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

·         Act 6.0

·         FTP site knowledge

·         Knowledge of Quark, Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop would be a plus
